Once the contract is signed and the retainer is paid, your date is officially locked in! You’ll get my 34-page wedding guide (aka your new planning BFF), and then we kick off engagement session planning.
STEP 3
We’ll book your engagement session ASAP so you get your dream season and favorite date. Once it’s locked in, I’ll send over my wardrobe + session prep guide to help you feel fully ready (and cute).
STEP 4
Between your engagement and wedding, we’ll stay in touch like old friends. And when the day finally arrives? I’ll be right there beside you—camera in hand, emergency kit ready, and 100% in it with you to capture the real, the beautiful, and everything in between.

If you know me, you know I LOVE to travel any chance I get. I would be ecstatic to explore with you for your engagement session! I will travel absolutely anywhere; upper and lower peninsula of MI, out of state, out of the country, etc. Travel fees are waived if you book your session when I’m already at a location, so keep an eye out on my website and social media for travel updates!

If you still want a regular session (what’s included in the package) and decide you want to travel for it, once we have the details of where and when laid out, I’ll give you a rough estimated travel quote. This essentially covers any accommodations necessary like transportation, stay, flight, etc depending on where we’re headed. From there, once any necessary travel is booked, it’ll just be added to your existing invoice!

That’s totally fine! The included engagement session is fully complimentary (I include it as a thank-you-for-your-trust addition!) so you’re not paying for something you’re not getting. I always encourage couples to take advantage of this because it gives you a beautiful set of photos, but it also helps to calm nerves, get you comfortable in front of my camera, and relieves any uncertainty when going into the wedding day so you can know what to expect from me. But if you just don’t want to, no problem!

Payments are split into 3; the first payment is the non-refundable retainer payment of $1,200, which saves your date and officially books you in my calendar! The last two payments are split evenly in 2, due 6 months and 1 month before the wedding. If any travel expenses get added to your invoice, they will be due within 1 month of adding.

Do not worry at all! Most people have never gotten professional photos taken before, so you’re not alone. This is why I prioritize a more in-depth, relaxed approach when it comes to not only my style, but also our relationship moving forward. Absolutely! As long as something is added before your last payment is due, we can make adjustments. In terms of a bridal session, as long as the session takes place 2+ months before your wedding day, those can be added as well.

My turnaround time for sessions is 8 weeks, and weddings are 10 weeks. This is an at-most timeframe. This online gallery allows you to download in 2 sizes, favorite photos, and print right from the site.
